Kate was really pretty in some shots and was seriously considered until we took a closer look at some of the pictures. We all agreed that she was too skinny (can you believe that I am saying that?). The problem is that you could see her bones and ribs in too many of the shots. Sometimes we will shoot a real skinny girl, but usually there are poses that I can put her in that will not show her ribs or bones poking through. But Kate was so thin that no matter what pose she was in you could see her ribs. Notice how she tried to hide her hipbones with her hands when she squatted. Even so, we were still considering shooting her because I was going to tell her to eat 4 Big Macs a day, and then we would shoot her at the end of the trip. But then we looked at her video and noticed that she had some crooked teeth that you could really see when she smiled big. Kate’s teeth were not bad enough alone to have her not get selected. It was that combined with her being too thin. I believe she has the potential of being a really hot model. Kate has the right looks. So next year we will make a point of casting Kate again and hopefully she will have put on some weight. With some added weight, Kate would have a killer body.
Czech 2010 Casting Assessment: Maybe - Maybe Yes - Not Selected
I believe this is the 3rd or possibly even the 4th time we have casted Kate. Every time she comes so close to being selected and yet never seems to make the cut. There is nothing wrong with her; Kate is a hot model and this year it came down to selecting either Kate or Megan Cox. We could not decide so we let our agent pick: Megan Cox. I actually think Kate has a much better body (for my personal tastes) than Megan Cox but our agent Petra had a strong opinion that Megan was the better model/choice. I have no regrets, except that at this point I feel bad for not selecting Kate yet. Maybe next year Kate :).
